I echo the same thoughts as post #2 (Dawson). 20 cars finished the event, and for that Wayne Peterson Ford to have gotten 12th, just 7 laps down (in a race that went 140+ laps green flag) is a great result! Good job for Swanson and team! And Darrell Basham surviving to a 15th place isn't all that bad either. 12. The car he was going to race tonight was an old Kurt Busch #2 Miller Lite Dodge cup car from several years ago that they repainted. Unfortunately, he crashed in qualifying. 13. Jeff posted: 09.14.2014 - 2:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) So is this the race that puts the nails in the coffin of Enfinger's title hopes? Another top-five run, and he loses 25 points to Mitchell, who can do no wrong. I hope I'm wrong in this, but with the next two races at superspeedways, the qualifying bonuses alone would keep Mitchell well out of Enfinger's grasp unless he meets with some misfortune. 16. Not too many guys are out there just to race for love of it anymore; I've met a lot of old guys: Marvin Panch, Dick Passwater, and Dave Dion, just to name a few, and you've got that same passion. Best of luck to you. 21. His flight didn't make it to Salem in time for the start, so Bailey stepped in.
