Daniel Suarez' ARCA debut, and just his second superspeedway race, sees him lead a good chunk of the race on his way to a top-5. He flew back to Mexico for a NASCAR Toyota Series race later in the weekend after this event concluded. Ben Rhodes, in his superspeedway debut, led the race and was charging back through the field after a pit stop only to crash out. He wrecked racing with Matt Tifft near the front of the field. Grant Enfinger saw his title hopes virtually go up in smoke with a blown engine in the opening laps. 3. Easily the best Kentucky race I've seen. 5. Anonymous posted: 09.20.2014 - 12:08 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Some sort of post-race scuffle between Williams and Mitchell, no video, at least yet 6. Six wins but poorer qualifying than Mason Mitchell bit him in the end. Does anyone know if Enfinger will be running a full schedule next year? 8. Without qualifying points, Enfinger would have had a 10 point lead going into Kentucky instead of a 60 point deficit. While the engine issues tonight probably would have sealed the deal anyway, just like 2009 the qualifying points have again basically handed the championship to the inferior driver. 10. dennyfan11 posted: 09.20.2014 - 8:09 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) What is the ARCA points system? 11. jethomps72 posted: 09.20.2014 - 8:21 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) 25 pts. for attempting to qualify for an event 5 pts. for leading a lap 5 pts. for leading the most laps 15 pts. for pole 10 pts. for 2nd place in qualifying 5 pts. for 3rd place in qualifying 200 pts. for winning each spot in the finishing order drops 5 pts. After that hillbilly rammed Mitchell's car for about two football field lengths in the pits, Mitchell got out and essentially went to town on Josh Williams front teeth, with some nice jackhammers! No suspensions have been announced and there more than likely will not be any due to Mitchell's championship status. Pics posted soon! 13. Which is just pathetic. If something is suspension worthy, then it should be suspension no matter who you are or where you are in the standings. Josh Williams is some "hillbilly" all right. He's from Port Charlotte... which is as good as being from Newark as far as "hillbillies" are concerned. Then again for you to call Williams a "hillbilly" for bumping a guy who obviously bounced him at some point in the race just proves that you're just a pig. I'd rather see Mitchell throw a slug then act like a pansy like Kyle Busch, but if you think I wouldn't want a suspension as a well, you're wrong as hell. If either driver is a hillbilly, it's Mitchell who is from the great rural city of Des Moines! 14. Qualifying pays 15 points for the pole, 10 points for second, 5 points for third, and 0 points for 4th on back. I've made my opinion on the qualifying points clear. 21. Most of the people you will meet in the coastal areas, especially the west coast of Florida, are Yankee transplants. 25. Almost 25% of the drivers were handed Federal Indictments on at least one point in the season. Charges ranged from Fraud, to Ponzi Schemes, to Copper Theft, and Armed Robbery. Tony Stewart should take a lesson on how to handle matters from these guys ... 29. x fan posted: 10.03.2014 - 9:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) i saw the picture on Twitter before ARCA took it down. it looked like Josh Williams had just went two rounds with Mike Tyson or possibly even Lennox Lewis in the Kentucky pit área with the 98 driver. not sure where mason Mitchell learned how to protect himself. wish i knew!!! 30. 1978 Steelers, 1989 DetroitPistons, ARCA posted: 10.03.2014 - 9:52 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) You want to talk about some dirty characters, off the field ... you left out these two teams.
