Then the leaders Williams and Briscoe wrecked each other on the backstretch. Williams car was destroyed and Briscoe with the splitter in the air finished second Note Ed Pompa first top ten and Williams still got a top ten Sponsor Updates #55 Toyota Racing Development/Windows 10 #52 Ansell/Menards #23 Bret Holmes Racing #27 MatrixCare/Consonus Healthcare #30 Jones Group/Huntilar #9 Stable 12/DK-LOK #6 Musselman's Big Cup Applesauce #98 Karl Chevrolet #64 Thunder Bolt Energy Chews/PB Thins #0 Dodge #14 Shepard's Wrecking/Skeet's Garage & Rod Shop #2 Hixson Motorsports #69 E3 Spark Plugs #06/#00 Great Railing/Ocean Pipe Works #70 Pessimistic Dating Owner Update #11 Thomas Praytor Cautions Lap 9-14 #14,#9 accident turn 3 Lucky Dog #2 Lap 50-57 #05.#14 accident turn 1 Lucky Dog #30 Lap 106-112 #9 stopped on track Backstretch Lucky Dog #27 Lap 112-118 #25,#98,#22,#05,#15 Accident Turn 1 Lucky Dog #30 Lap 182-189 #77,#6 Accident Turn 2 Lucky Dog #30 To the Rear #14 pitted before the green #69 Driver Change Status #25 Running #9 Running #10 Running #6 Accident #98 Running #34 Brakes #48 Handling #22 Running #05 Accident #15 Accident #64 Vibration #0 Too Slow #14 Accident #2 Vibration #69 Brakes #06 Engine #11 Transmission #70 Handing #00 Brakes Crew Chief #98 Mason Mitchell 2. Townley thought Hessert chopped him, but from the replays, Townley just took out him, and several good cars. Some good runs before that incident were Quinnton Bear, Clayton Weatherman, and first timer Landon Huffman. 6. rm posted: 08.07.2016 - 11:32 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Clair Zimmerman makes his first start in a year and the PA short track racer best known for his wild 2005 Daytona crash records a 6th place finish. Ed Pompa gets the first top ten for that team this season outside of Weatherman races. 7. Greg posted: 08.07.2016 - 1:12 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) This is old school. Only in ARCA you can have a motor race in 2016 with less than 50% of the field actually getting to the checkered flag. 13 laps down still gets you a Top 10! 10. WZK posted: 08.07.2016 - 2:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brad Smith should be officially out as "Too Slow." He was black flagged for not meeting the minimum speed and came in to work on the car. ARCA parked him after he was unable to sustain a competitive pace. 11. WZK posted: 08.07.2016 - 2:19 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Chris Bailey Jr. (#11) dropped to the back before the green. Made a pit stop, driver choice. 12. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot posted: 08.07.2016 - 3:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Happened to run a across this while channel surfing. By the looks of the TV coverage not much of a crowd. A few years back at Berlin you couldn't find a seat. Somebody that was in attendance please confirm. 19 laps down and the car was on a hook gets you a top 10. Can this series actually draw enough quality equipment to stay in existence? 13. rw posted: 08.07.2016 - 4:41 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Finally Dalton seals the deal and wins! 14. ARCA has always been like that, in a short track race with a lot of beating and banging it's not uncommon for a car 10+ laps down to sneak into the back end of the top 10. 16. 23andJoe posted: 08.23.2016 - 2:20 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Leaders: Tom Hessert 1-108; Dalton Sargeant 109-117; Josh Williams 118-181; Josh Williams 182-200 Laps led: Hessert 108, Williams 64, Sargeant 28 17. The track and series mutually parted ways after 2016 with Berlin bringing in the NASCAR K&N East series in 2017. 19. It's a fun little track. 20. rm posted: 12.06.2017 - 6:56 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Back on the schedule for 2018. 21. He may still be racing, but I highly doubt that he will ever top 17th. 22. rm posted: 07.01.2018 - 8:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cautions: 5 for 26 laps If there's a massive wreck on the pace laps in either the July Pocono ARCA or Truck race coming up, he might be able to best that, but barring an act of god that will almost certainly not happen. 23. Anonymous posted: 07.25.2019 - 1:06 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Williams and Briscoe had the dominant cars, but Williams made a very optimistic move into 1 on 182 that led to both Williams and Briscoe going off the track off of 2. Williams would go into the tire barrier in the backstretch while Briscoe got nose damage but rallied back to p2. 24.
