Positions 1-25 were running at the finish. 2. Brandon posted: 07.28.2017 - 10:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Did all three Peterson cars DNS or Withdraw? 3. Which is weird since Mike Senica was equally as slow. 6. Herbst cut Haley's lead down from over two seconds and caught him at the white flag, but couldn't find a way around Haley on the final lap and settled for second. Natalie Decker collects her first top 10 of her ARCA career. Dalton Sergeant finished fifth to cut into championship leader Austin Theriault's points lead. Theriault now leads by 110 points. 9. rm posted: 07.29.2017 - 6:43 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) They did indeed DNQ Peterson because they decided being 32+ mph slower than the polesitter was enough. The cutoff was 140 mph, Senica barely made it and he pulled off not far into the race. I'll post a full rundown with a lot of correct info later. I will say though that the 46 DNF reason wasn't accident, the composite car was fixable despite the hard lick, they had the trackbar break I think? 10. While the 0, 06, and 88 completed a combined total of 1 practice lap, ARCA decided to "eliminate the embarassment" and DNQ the trio. As for Salem next Sunday, it may not happen. Diesel, entry fees, new slicks, hotels, and crew costs @ Pocono were a shear loss for Peterson while he collected $0 prize monies yesterday. 11. They never mention him on any of their social media sites whenever he drives for them. 12. ol hank posted: 07.29.2017 - 12:01 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Wow, ARCA actually put there foot down on the Peterson crew...I think they're tired of the team not even bothering to bang the dents out of the sheet metal anymore. I like that they show up to the track every week, but I think they need to show a little more effort out there, at least make the cars appearance decent. 13. rm posted: 07.29.2017 - 12:13 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) 10, a few things wrong there...first, they completed more than 1 combined practice lap - only 1 car didn't take a time in practice and it was the 34. That's not why they DNQ'd them. Like I said earlier, they established a cutoff at 140 mph and they were below it. Second, Winchester is next week not Salem. Finally, I'd be real surprised if Peterson actually stayed in a hotel this week, they usually don't. Also I never once saw fresh tires on those cars this weekend. Something tells me you're the same person who was posting misleading info about IRP attendance and more last week. 14. Saw them carting him out of the garage, hope he is alright! 16. rm posted: 07.29.2017 - 7:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cautions: First caution - laps 1-5 - green/yellow start; free pass - none Second caution - laps 26-31 - 46 accident short chute; free pass - 10 To the rear - 07 - missed driver's meeting; 28 - late to tech Kaltreider was among a slew of drivers who were late to or missed the meeting but only he wound up being penalized. Creed's team changed their engine before qualifying and was very late to pit road. DNF Reasons: 31 - brakes 2 - handling 33 - broken gear 96 - broken trackbar 46 - broken rotor Not sure if "broken" needs to be listed officially on those DNF reasons, just listing them as they were called at the track. Car owners: 88 - Wayne Peterson 41 - Matthew Miller Personally I'd propose any car in the past few years with Matthew Miller, Doug Fuller, Lorin Ranier, or Mark McFarland listed as the owner be changed to MDM Motorsports as a conglomerate because it's real confusing with how they list the owner on entry sheets between K&N, ARCA, and Trucks despite all being the same team. I'd also suggest that Billy Venturini's ownership stats be moved to Bill's page and that Briggs Cunningham & Kerry Scherer's stats be combined, but I think that's just personal preference. Sponsors: 0, 06, 88 - Great Railing/Ocean Pipe Works 20 - Event Vehicle Leasing 46 - WLR Construction 48 - "Zona"/Radon.com 52 - Federated Auto Parts/SEM Have a full list of crew chiefs too but I'll put that in another post so this doesn't get too long. Was going to wait till the end of the year to do crew chief updates for the whole season since it's pretty tedious to do it race by race - and I'm sure even more tedious for the webmaster! 17. 48johnsonfan posted: 07.29.2017 - 8:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Lap 1-5 were under a green/yellow start, restart came at lap 6. The cars are fielded out of the same shop and frequently swap crew members. Same with MDM, the stats should either be combined under one owner (likely Miller) or under a new MDM Motorsports umbrella. 22. As the old gen-4 cars and teams are slowly phased out the field size has dropped. Right now there are 22 numbers that have ran all season - 21, technically, since the 28 missed a race - and probably 2/3 of those are teams with composite cars. Until more teams buy composite bodies, used or new in the next couple years, the field size will stay low. Same deal has happened with the K&N series, though they've been hit far harder than ARCA. 33 teams showed up here, and while the 3 Peterson cars DNQ'd to bring it down to 30 cars, that's still more than the 29 that showed up to the July race last year. Only 2 start and parks too, which is also a better sign, thanks to the new plans/list update that ARCA keeps the teams on for payouts. 24.
