Sooo....based on ARCA's recent decision to DNQ those cars, they should have been DNQed right? But....since this was a FOX Sports televised race and ARCA needs as many cars on the grid to look good - it appears ARCA decided to let those three cars into the race but told them that they had to park on lap one. If ARCA had DNQed those cars, only 25 would have started the race at Kentucky. 7. Shame he doesn't have a better ride, he' honestly over qualified for this series. the #2,#42,#32,#7 should all be listed as Crash 8. rm posted: 09.23.2017 - 10:14 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The 94 of Dale Shearer withdrew I guess, he never hit the track, not sure if he even showed up. 9. JSPorts posted: 09.23.2017 - 10:48 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think Theriault is a great driver. His average finish this year is 3.1, with top-10s in every single race plus 7 wins. His average finish in the last 6 races is 1.3, with 4 wins and 2 runner-up finishes. I know he's a little older than these big teams like their prospects to be, but somebody would have to be crazy not to sign him. He's just looked so good. And keep in mind, he isn't doing it with the biggest, richest team in ARCA either. He's had 10 different primary sponsors this year, and has had two races in which the car was unsponsored. He's run 3 different makes of cars in 2017. 10. Jack posted: 09.23.2017 - 11:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The problem for Theriault is that there just aren't many quality truck rides to move up to given Schrader's team doesn't run trucks anymore. Best case scenario would be having MDM sign him full-time to the 99. First ARCA title for Ken Schrader since Bill Baird in 1999. 11. If he's back in the series next year I'd be shocked. He needs a full-time Xfinity ride, would love to see JDM or JGL pick him up. 14. JSPorts posted: 09.23.2017 - 11:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) Imagine what he could be doing in the 19 truck instead of Austin Cindric. He's run even better than Chase Briscoe did in this series a year ago, and Chase is having pretty good truck success. 15. rm posted: 09.23.2017 - 12:08 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yes Crosley is Bo's deal. Cindric in 2017 and Theriault in 2015 have pretty much identical average finishes in trucks. Seeing as this is Cindric's first full season in stock cars and that was only a partial season for Theriault, I would guess Theriault would be doing a bit better but not by too much. Both are very good future talents, but it all depends on where they end up next year. 16. His retro-painted #28 was fast and led late before he to pit under yellow and lost the top spot. Creed raced right back up to second and survived the wild late restarts but was not able to pass Austin Theriault to take the lead. Zane Smith had a great run on the green-white-checker. He sneaked by Creed on the final lap but didn't have any time to make a run at Theriault. 21. Probably will not pass the first Pocono race's mark for most non-plate track starters this season though. 25. Since they didn't have a pit crew ready, they had to stop and refuel in the garage before rejoining the race! It wound up marking the first time Doheny was running at the finish of an ARCA race. 27.
