(side note, I thought Kaden was going with Empire this year, did that fall apart?) 7. Most of the drivers in this race had yet to be born the last time ARCA ran here. This is Self's fourth-career ARCA win but his first on a short track. Connor Okrzesik makes his ARCA debut and claims a top-10 finish. The Alabama late model racer had a top-10 here at Five Flags in the Derby last year. 8. rm posted: 03.10.2019 - 6:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kaden's deal is complicated. Yes, he was supposed to go to Empire but instead they took it to Spraker. Originally, last year, he wasn't supposed to go with Empire in the first place but that's a different story. Okrzesik easily got the loudest cheers during intros. He and fellow AL native Bret Holmes seemed to be the most popular with the local crowd. Yet another AL driver, Thomas Praytor, was a possibility to show but he celebrated the birth of his son this week instead. His father and car owner, Tommy, was on hand to serve as part of the promotional effort. 9. Racer77g posted: 03.11.2019 - 8:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) How much do these guys get paid? I find it very odd that 3-4 teams would put in the amount of effort into getting there just to s&p, but at the same time we only get 14 competitive entries 10. Willsome429 posted: 03.11.2019 - 9:29 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) @9: Purses don't pay. It's the season-ending bonuses for owner points and showing up to every race that pays. 11. Chase told Matt Weaver around the Snowball Derby he had zero plans lined up. DOn't know if that's changed but that's the last update I got on him. 13. gps_50 posted: 03.11.2019 - 3:59 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Tim is in fact named after THE Tim Richmond.
