The latter of those is extremely difficult to find information on, I think it was one of the years where the schedule was supposed to be well over 20 races. Unless they were companion events to Cup or open wheel races, very few road course races in any of the lower series wound up being televised until the ~mid-90s or so. For ARCA, I think the only races televised were the second Road America race with MAV, the WGI race tape-delayed and edited on Speedvision, and one or two of the NJMP races locally (I think, one of the races is on Youtube). I know there's video of the St. Louis race and at least one of the Topeka races, but I don't know if they were taped for TV or if it was just home video or somewhere in between. East (North)/West had Lime Rock and Portland get TV time in the past, and in the last few years Utah and VIR got TV slots as well. The West races at some pretty unique circuits from a stock car perspective in the past, I wish there was more out there on those events. 32. Going to guess whatever deal they thought they had in place wound up blowing up at the last minute, unfortunately. The 2017 race at Road America also featured threatening skies, though I don't think it ever rained enough to convince more than a couple crew chiefs to throw on the rain tires. As that race is no longer on Youtube I'm only going off memory here, I think the teams that did switch to rain tires only lasted a lap or two on them. I believe one of the New Jersey races also featured some light rain. 39. DeeganFan posted: 08.14.2020 - 3:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) What's with the practice results? It would include races at Daytona on the oval and road course, New Smyrna, and Volusia. Obviously, due to costs, most ARCA teams would have no realistic way to do it, it was just an imagined scenario. While not in a single week, we actually did get three of those four races this year counting the East Series. 72. rw posted: 08.15.2020 - 9:17 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kind of stinks knowing that weren't road course ringers in this race, aside from Colin Braun relieving Sam Meyer. 73. Kelly was a part-owner of Frank Cicci's Busch team in the mid-2000s and his Hunter's Hope foundation - named after Kelly's son Hunter who was born with Krabbe's disease and ultimately passed away due to his illness in 2005 - frequently had placement on the team's #34 Dollar General-sponsored cars. Here, Jim's "Kelly for Kids Foundation" adorned Sam Mayer & Colin Braun's #21 car, with the car being trimmed in red & blue to match the colors of Kelly's Buffalo Bills team. 76.
