Corey Heim returns to the 20 after running the East Series races at New Smyrna and Dover with the team. First start since DuQuoin last season for Kelly Kovski, and Justin Allgaier's dad has started a team in ARCA. Last time Kelly Kovski was in a race, that was also Ryan Unzicker's most recent start. Second start of the season for Will Kimmel. His first was at the Daytona RC. If Owen Smith, Wayne Peterson, Alex Clubb, or Tim Monroe finish in the top 10, it'll mark their first career top 10s in ARCA. Ty Gibbs is the favorite as he is one of three drivers who teamed up to win 13 out of 18 races this year. The other two drivers were Sam Mayer and Chandler Smith (None of them are entered). 2. faninthestands posted: 09.30.2020 - 6:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 18 cars 6 or 7 start n park's. 3. This is her 1st ARCA dirt-track race, and she has won on the dirt before at Las Vegas. Plus, a win could really go a long way for her in public perception, and I'm sure she can feel pressure for not performing quite as well as some may have expected. 7. rm posted: 10.02.2020 - 1:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) They are selling tickets online in advance. Oh, and the fact that his car owner has been Springfield racing for 46 years? Whoop de doo, stop acting like this was a given. The Hendren team worked hard on a new car for this year. Give the guys some credit and stop raining on his parade. Only other car that was in the same zip code in qualifying was Gibbs, and he promptly wadded it up on lap 1. Instead of the usual hot and sunny atmosphere for Springfield on its normal August date, it was cold and blustery and rainy leading up to the race. That might have been one of the reasons why the track was more dusty than usual. Most cautions at Springfield since there were also 9 in the 2006 race, which was won by Justin Allgaier (in a Pontiac), his first career victory. Mike Basham's 6th is Fast Track's best finish since Daytona in February, when Jason White also finished 6th. This is Mike's second top ten at Springfield. 71. rm posted: 10.05.2020 - 8:23 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Forgot to add: Drew Dollar crossed the line in the 5th position on the track, but his scorecard was pulled for the last two laps because the team had ignored a black flag prior to the final restart. 72. Wayne lagged way, way behind on the start as usual and when they crashed in turn 4 on the first lap, he was far enough back that he opted to just turn into the infield via an opening on the backstretch instead of trying to pick his way through the accident scene. 80.
