RaceFanX posted: 03.17.2019 - 8:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Adam Petty had the hood come open and slam up against the windshield of his #45 Spree Pontiac during this race, likely due to a little damage on the nose of his Grand Prix. Surprisingly about the lower third of the windshield wasn't obscured and he must have been able to see out of it since he didn't come into the pits immediately and continued to race around the track at almost full speed with the hood up.
