Gary St. Amant passed Derrick Gilchrist late and conquers the Monster
Mile as the ASA series comes east for its only appearance at Dover Downs.

Unusually this race was run as a doubleheader with a Indy Racing League
event. Talk about two wildly different series partnering up...

Contact in this one between Eddie Hoffman and Ken Alexander resulted in
Alexander spinning on the frontstretch and getting rear ended at speed
by David Anspaugh. Alexander ended up catching a little air from the
resulting impact.
