Joey Clanton heats up as he snaps his "two-race losing streak" to claim
his sixth win in the ASA season's first eight races.

The loss of the "two-race losing streak" for Joey Clanton actually
occurred at the race before this one, the 2002 Governor's Cup 300 at
Elko Speedway, Unser1.

Here, Clanton managed to get around Butch Miller late in the race to get
his second win in a row after taking out that "losing streak" of his,
and this was his seventh win of the season in nine races overall.
