Miller used a late pit stop for some fresh tires to give him the edge he needed to pass Travis Kittleson late in the race and get the victory. Kittleson, who never won an ASA race, had to settle for third as Kevin Cywinski, who also pitted late for new tires, passed him for second with three laps to go. 2. Chevrolet won every ASA race in 2003 unsurprisingly. Fords became a very rare breed in ASA action after the series mandated the use of a GM Vortec spec engine in 2000 for all cars no matter their brand. 3.
