For Hoppe, As He Started Outside The T10 & Won Each Of The x3 Midwest

Hoppe's '99 Runner-Up Steve Carlson Lost The Title EOY By x8 Points, &
Looking Back Carlson's 23rd Place Here Certainly Stands Out. Despite x7
Wins, Carlson Was Unable To Overcome Hoppe's Season Sweep On T10s.

Pole speed - 117.716 mph by Brian Hoppe

Destry Hough DNQ'd after a big crash in qualifying landed him in the
hospital. Hough has since given up racing to become a local politician
in his native Missouri.
