A record crowd saw a record number of drivers tackle La Crosse's
Oktoberfest race weekend, with 16 divisions drawing a total of 593
drivers to the 5/8th mile oval. That's a healthy 37-driver average field
size per division...and that doesn't even take into account the many
drivers running in multiple races! Steve Holzhausen ran all three late
model features on Sunday and finished 1st, 2nd and 4th. His worst finish
of the day came in the big race here for the Midwest Series.
