Roberts, 50, was a rookie to the sport who died during a test session at Lebanon I-44 on March 24, 2001 in an accident that looked just like Dale Earnhardt's (interestingly, Roberts and Earnhardt both had daughters named Taylor). This was to be his first race. I have NO proof of this, but I do suspect he was on the entry list. After all, wouldn't an excited newcomer be one of the first to submit an entry form? 2. rm posted: 09.14.2020 - 11:08 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Eddie Hoffman won the pole with a speed of 77.421 mph (14-car invert) Time of race - 1:29:56 Average speed - 42.198 mph Margin of victory - 1.632 seconds ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
