Fredrickson status - out of gas
R. Hanson status - ignition

Fredrickson was running second and doing his best to make a move on
leader Steve Carlson after closing in on the leader during the 15-lap
dash to the finish. That ended when he started to lose power when the
leaders flashed by to take the white flag, realizing when he was coming
out of the first & second turns that he was out of gas after 249 and a
quarter laps. He was pushed into the wall from behind but kept going, at
an even more-reduced pace now, but coming around back to the front
straight he was hit again and sent for a spin. Fredrickson was unable to
refire from there.
