Steve Carlson finishes second but it isn't enough for a fifth-straight
NASCAR Autozone Midwest Series title. Justin Diercks finishes seventh
and dethrones the champion to win his first title by less than 50
points. Race winner Brian Hoppe finishes third in the title battle.

Molly Rhoads makes her lone Midwest Series start, becoming the only
female driver to ever race in this series in the process.
