(2) Tiny missed qualifying after blowing an engine in practice, which is why he started last. (3) Tiny charged through the field, along the way using "questionable tactics," better known as "hitting everything but the pace car." (4) Tiny dumped Bruce Gould while they fought for the lead, during the ensuing caution... (5) Tiny passed A. Arnold, who had passed him while he was dumping Gould, so Tiny was demoted the spot at the finish. (6) Only 7 of the drivers in this race were running for GNE points: Tiny Lund, Dean Dalton, Neil Castles, Ernie Shaw, Bobby Fleming, Jerry Hufflin, and Wayne Andrews. 8. Just like his car owner Colella did at Heidelberg earlier in the month this was another time when the proverbial hometrack hero bested the visiting talent. When dominant Bruce Gould got dumped by Lund it looks like Senneker capitalized to grab the lead from both and bring home the trophy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
