His first shot at Winston Cup crashing and burning at the time Mark
Martin makes possibly his only appearence in the NASCAR North Tour,
since he wasn't running for North Tour points he was not given an
official start in the series. The multiple-time ASA champion showed his
short track stuff and finished 6th.
