After tangling with Geoff Bodine late in the going Dick McCabe famously
said "I got weaselized"

Butch Lindley also needed a police escort to the airport after putting
Jeff Stevens out.

And Mike Rowe won with a V-6.

All in all it sounds like it was quite a race.

Curious as to why drivers with an (OC) don't get shown as competing in
this NASCAR North division race when looking at their driver pages?

Happened to notice while look at the pages for Butch Lindley, Geoffrey
Bodine, and Bubba Adams.

@3 - Interesting question. I had to do a fair amount of digging to come
up with this answer. According to The Third Turn, this was a combination
race with the 1984 Oxford Open Competition Series ("OC"), a 5-race
season held entirely at Oxford Plains Speedway. In fact, all 5 Stroh's
Tour (later NASCAR North) races at Oxford in 1984 were run under this
format.

I assume that there is no data on those driver's pages for this race
since that was a small, local series that isn't tracked on RR.
Presumably, drivers could only receive points in one series or the
other. Dick McCabe provides a good example of this, as he received
Stroh's Tour (NASCAR North) points in the first 3 Oxford races of 1984,
but apparently ran for OC points in the last two. Accordingly, only the
first 3 are shown on his driver's page under NASCAR North results.

I hadn't thought of combination races. Since there's usually a note of
that on Racing Reference, it didn't cross my mind.
