I'm not 100%, but I think Capital City (race sponsor) refers to the media company that notably bought ABC the same year - which would make sense both year-wise & in terms of sponsoring this race and an ARCA race in Michigan a week & a day apart (the ARCA race being the preceding) -6th of x24 starts, Randy MacDonald- -70th of x24 starts, Dale Shaw- -11th of x30 starts, Frank Fraser- -58th of x73 starts, Brent Hatch- -69th of x89 starts, Randy LaJoie- -76th of x96 starts, Joey Kourafas- -96th of x105 starts, Milt Wright- -120th of x140 starts, Kevin Lepage- -130th of x145 starts, Jean-Paul Carbona- -131st of x139 starts, Steve Poulin- -142nd of x162 starts, Bobby Dragon- -146th of x164 starts, Jean-Paul Larose- -163rd of x183 starts, Stub Fadden- -168th of x187 starts, Jamie Aube- -176th of x196 starts, Claude Leclerc- BF: Robbie Crouch (Tied) -175th of x195 starts- 2BF: Beaver Dragon (Tied) -167th of x187 starts- Roger Laperle ('85-tied) -124th of x139 starts- 2T15: Keith Cavanagh ('85, &2LT15-Car) -134th of x140 starts- FR: Jerry Lesage ('85/BF '85; 2LR/2BF-Car) 2R: George McRae ('85/2BF '85; 2LT20) -13th of x16 starts- 2WF: Gardiner Leavitt ('85-Tied; 2NT20 '85) -162nd of x177 starts- Chuck Bown ('85-tied; 2NT20 '85) -95th of x115 starts- Tom Glaser ('85) -70th of x82 starts- 2NT20: Peter Gibbons Dick McCabe ('85) -131st of x135 starts- 2. Crouch got past Dragon with only six laps left in the race and pulled away to take the win. The Capital City name for the track and the race likely comes from this race being held just outside Ottawa, the national capital of Canada. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
