Clark led the first 96 circuits, then Shaw and Clark got together in
lapped traffic, sending Clark back to 8th and Shaw to the lead for the
final four circuits.

I talked to Dale Shaw the other day and he said this was his most
memorable race during his Busch North days.

"One of the fondest memories is probably my first win at Holland, NY.
Starting dead last on a provisional. They say once you get your first
win, it's easier."
