Mike Stefanik held off a hard-charging Kelly Moore for his third career
win and second of the season. Moore tried to find any way he could
around Stefanik, but could do it. Stefanik survived a restart with two
laps to go (maybe jumped the restart).

There was a nine-plus car crash on the front stretch on lap 74, taking
out a number of cars. Ted Christopher, Bill Duggan, Keith Lamell, Glenn
Sullivan and Stub Fadden were all sent to the garage. Heavy damage to
Sullivan and Lamell. Tom Bolles and Derek Lynch were also involved.
Lynch spun while Bolles received from front end damage. Dave Dion
stopped in the middle of the wreckage, but didn't appear to receive any
damage.

Ed Kennedy actually drove an Oldsmobile, not a Chevrolet.

There was a 20-lap qualifying race for the feature with 13 cars starting.

Cerbone and Thiel got together on the first lap, sending Thiel airborne
as they touched wheels. Thiel continued, but Cerbone sustained heavy
right front damage.

Spraker spun out early on in turn four.

Kennedy and Ed Spencer III were in a great battle for the fourth, and
final, transfer spot until the two got together on the front stretch,
sending Spencer to the infield. Spencer was not happy with Kennedy, as
he gave him a shot in the bumper after the race.

1. 2 Tom Rosati (started 1st)
2. 10 Bill Duggan (2nd)
3. 25 John Swanson (5th)
4. 00 Ed Kennedy (9th)

Failing to qualify (in numerical order):
02 John Cerbone (started 3rd)
5 Barney McRae (8th)
12 John Preston (11th)
17 Bob Brunell (10th)
23 Ed Spencer III (4th)
64 Scott Bouley (13th)
69 Jeff Spraker (7th)
87 Ron Thiel Jr. (6th)
93 Frank Vigliarolo Jr. (12th)
