Butch Leitzinger's lone Busch North start of 1996 results in his
third-straight win at Lime Rock. Leitzinger had a good record in Busch
North, running nine races and winning four of them. This was his last
start in the series.

Also of note, Butch Leitzinger missed the drivers metting for this race
and had to start at the rear of the field.

Andy Santerre led going into the last lap and then ran wide and flipped
at West Bend to give the lead and the win to Leitzinger.
