This was Dave Dion's fourth and final victory during the 1997 NASCAR
Busch North Series season. Like in his first win of the season at Loudon
on May 10, he led flag to flag from the first starting spot to win this
race. Unlike what happened at Loudon, however, Dion actually did get the
pole from qualifying, rather than rulebook procedures done without
qualifying.
