Dion had a nine point lead over Mike Stefanik coming into this race, but Dion cut a tire midway through and was forced to pit under green. To make matters worse, a frustrated Dion rocketed out of the pits before his crew was finished and got hung up on the air hose. That resulted in a stop-and-go penalty and an F-bomb on national television. The race was broadcast on TNN along with the 100-lap Modified race. Eli Gold, Buddy Baker and Brett Bodine called the race. 2.
