Mike Stefanik finishes ninth, one spot in front of title rival Jerry
Marquis, and seals up his first Busch North championship in the process.
Stefanik had a busy weekend as he commuted between Lime Rock and
Thompson, where he raced the next day and won the Modified Tour title.

Ted Christopher wins his second race in a row to end the season in
style. He only made 10 Busch North starts in 1997 but won three of them
including this race. He won at Watkins Glen earlier in the season so he
swept the season's road course races. This was his only win in the
series at Lime Rock.

The 1997 Busch North season was a long one as the tour ran 22 races, it
hasn't run that many in any year since.
