Future series champion Matt Kobyluck makes the first of his many starts
in the Busch North/K&N East series

Dale Shaw scores his only Busch North win of 1998 in his final start of
the season in the #60 Ford. He replaced Bobby Dragon in the Skoal #7
Pontiac for all but two of the remaining races.

Also the second and final Busch North start for then-Truck series
regular Butch Miller

As the name of the race implies this event was part of a tripleheader of
racing action at Loudon that also included the NASCAR Modified Tour and
the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Guest racer Butch Miller's #18
Chevrolet Monte Carlo here was painted identically to the #18 Dodge Ram
he drove in the Truck series at this time.
