Dale Quarterley started last, but worked his way to the lead.

After a late caution for Sonny Whelen's spin, Quarterley led Brad
Leighton after a restart with three laps to go. Leighton gave Quarterley
a nudge at the top of the hill, getting Quarterley loose and Leighton
got around and pulled away to record his first win at Lime Rock Park. It
was the second-straight win of the season for Leighton.
