Quarterley's sixth career win and final victory to date. He cut to running partial schedules after 2004. Eddie MacDonald get into the back of Mike Stefanik coming out of turn four on the final lap. MacDonald got third, Stefanik got into the outside wall, but still finished fourth. 3. Wolfe finished second four times in the series even if he always found the gates to victory lane locked. After Bill Penfold crashed up high in turns 1 and 2, the safety team was running up the banking to tend to Penfold when suddenly Penfold let off the brake, intending to get out of the car, and sent his wrecked car rolling back down the track, nearly mowing over the crowd of safety workers. 5.
