Andy Santerre finished eighth and clinched his fourth straight Busch
North Series (now Camping World East) championship. This would be
Santerre's final race as he retired as a driver to focus on being an
owner. He retired as a true champion.

This would actually be the final race, at least as of today, for three
former champions. Andy Santerre (2002-05), Mike Stefanik (1997-98), Dale
Shaw (1994).

Also the final race of the Busch North Series. NASCAR changed the name
to the Busch East Series in 2006.
