Sprint Cup driver Aric Almirola, replacing Jeffrey Earnhardt in the No.
8 DEI Chevy, won in his debut race in the Camping World Series East.
Earnhardt was taken out of the car for reasons not related to on-track
performance.

Matt Kobyluck clinched his first championship with his third-place finish.

Bobby Hamiliton Jr scores his lone top-5 in the East series in his third
and to date final start in the series, all of which were in 2008.

Aric's first of two Dover "Miles The Monster" trophies! He won a Camping
World Truck Series race at Dover in 2010.

Aric also earned the last overall NASCAR sanctioned win for Dale
Earnhardt Inc. DEI merged with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2009, and the
driver development program was killed off. Jesus Hernandez is out of the
sport, Jeffery Earnhardt sparingly makes starts for Rick Ware Racing,
but that Trevor Bayne kid ended up winning a Daytona 500.

As far as I know, Aric Almirola and Kyle Busch are the only drivers
undefeated in their East Series careers. 1 start, 1 win.

Actually, Rick Martin started only one Busch North race and won it back
in 1987.

The Commentators For The Race Were Mike Hogewood And Dan Pardus. The Pit
Road Reporter Was Natalie Taylor.
