Earnhardt was taken out of the car for reasons not related to on-track performance. Matt Kobyluck clinched his first championship with his third-place finish. 2. Aric also earned the last overall NASCAR sanctioned win for Dale Earnhardt Inc. DEI merged with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2009, and the driver development program was killed off. Jesus Hernandez is out of the sport, Jeffery Earnhardt sparingly makes starts for Rick Ware Racing, but that Trevor Bayne kid ended up winning a Daytona 500. As far as I know, Aric Almirola and Kyle Busch are the only drivers undefeated in their East Series careers. 1 start, 1 win. 4.
