The two had been bumping on the restarts all race. This time Ickler spun to the infield coming to the line on the restart. Ickler got going with no caution and held back, waiting for Christopher to come back around. With two laps to go, Christopher caught Ickler in turn four, causing Christopher to slow down and Peyton Sellers ended up ramming Christopher in the rear and sending the No. 31 into the wall. NASCAR waited over half a lap to throw the caution, but finally did, handing Sellers the win... kind of. NASCAR took 15-20 minutes to finally declare Sellers the winner, thinking that he intentionally wrecked Christopher. At one point, it was leaked that NASCAR was giving Trevor Bayne the win, but eventually gave it to Sellers. Ryan Truex, younger brother of Martin Truex Jr., made his series debut and finished a respectable 11th. 2. rob posted: 02.17.2010 - 8:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) i guess NASCAR felt they owed sellers a break after screwing him at greenville and south boston. 3. The track made it a double-header with the East Series opener and the Whelen Modified race later on the same day. 4. He'd move up to dabble in several different series in 2009, including running a pair of East series races near the start of the season, before moving into the NASCAR Truck series full-time in 2010. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
