Ryan Truex got the jump on the outside on the final restart as
DiBenedetto didn't go. DiBenedetto chased him down and the two made a
little contact coming out of turn 2 on the final lap. DiBenedetto bumped
Truex entering the third turn sending Truex up the track. DiBenedetto
got a great run through the turn and the two were side-by-side in turn
four, they made contact again and DiBenedetto won the race to the
checkers by a car length over Truex. Great finish to a so-so race.

Steve Park hit the wall coming out of turn 2 and did a 360 without
causing a caution late in the race.

Scott Bouley didn't even get onto the track as he went to the garage
without taking the green. Daniels crashed for the second time on the
weekend.

Series debuts for Eric Chase and D.J. Shaw (son of former series
champion Dale Shaw).

This was DiBenedetto's second win of the year, he only ran seven of the
season's 11 races.

I wish DiBenedetto could've stayed with Gibbs. It would be great to see
how well he could've done, but the economy turned south & Gibbs & the
sponsors decided they'd have to cut down on prospects. I hope that some
way he is able to resurrect his career with Go FAS, though I doubt it
will happen.
