Here's to more success for Park in the future! 2. Smokefan05 posted: 08.02.2009 - 9:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Congrats to Steve!!!!!!!! 3. He hasn't been the same driver since the incident a few years back. The wreck at Darlington did something to him. He went from a cup front runner to a guy struggling in the truck series to a guy struggling to win a race in the CW East series. But as a Steve Park fan it is nice to see flashes of the old Steve 4. Steve actually reported earlier in the race that he thinks he has a tire rub. But there were a lot of battles for the lead. Eddie MacDonald had his tires going down I think because he was leading the beginning getting challenged by almost nobody. Then he started getting passed and eventually finished 10th. But it's cool to see Steve Park back in victory lane since Nazareth '96. (in East competition) I can imagine that Ryan and his brother Martin are going to be Sprint cup teammates in a few years. 6. This is his first win since a California Truck race in 2005, and he (unfortunately) hasn't started a Cup race since 2003. Here he is 4 years later in victory lane. GO #35!!! Also hats off to #00 Ryan Truex for 2nd place here and the championship. 17 year olds rule (Joey Logano gets championship in '07, East) 8. racefangurl posted: 09.11.2014 - 1:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Joey Logano and Ryan Truex were champions in the then Camping World East Series and Trevor Bayne won a race at Thompson Speedway from the pole at 17. He was fourth in points and only DNF'd once. 9. RaceFanX posted: 07.05.2015 - 8:28 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Last East series race to date at Adirondack International Speedway 10.
