Ty Dillon's first NASCAR victory

Ty Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress and younger brother of Truck
Series driver Austin Dillon, scores his first career NASCAR East Series
win.

Kevin Swindell earned his 2nd straight pole and led all but one of the
first 129 laps, but he and Ryan Truex got into it while battling for the
lead on lap 137 on the backstretch which allowed Ty Dillon to inherit
what turned out to be the win. Swindell ended up stalling the car on the
GWC and finished 14th.

Ryan Truex ended up finishing 7th, but Darrell Wallace Jr. finished 15th
after getting involved in Truex and Swindell's wreck so Truex now leads
the standings by 66 points.

Cole Whitt got his 3rd runner up finish of the season.

Ryan Gifford finished a season-best 3rd, his 7th top five in 12 career
starts since last season.

Michael Cherry finished 4th in his series debut.

Matt Kobyluck collects just his 4th top ten of the season, 3rd top five.
His best finish of 2010 is only 4th.

Sergio Pena gets his best career East Series finish in 6th, his 2nd top
ten in the last 3 races.

DJ Shaw gets his first top ten in the last 5 races, and first since
starting the season with 3 straight top tens.

Brandon Haley gets his first top ten in his 2nd career start.

Cherry's top-5 remains his only one in the series to date.

The race was extended because Nascar messed up. They came to the white
and the yellow came out. The order of the flags were white, yellow,
yellow, checkered. It was a mess of a finish that saw cherry get scored
second because he pulled up to congratulate. The race also featured
several reds for clean up

Swindell and one of his crew members got in a shoving match with
third-place finisher Gifford after the race
