In his 3rd year in the K&N Pro series, Brett Moffitt finally wins at
Iowa Speedway. Brett is from Grimes, Iowa.

This East-West combo race used to be run on a Sunday afternoon, and from
2007 to 2009 featured at least 1 Sprint Cup driver. But after Kyle Busch
embarrased the field in 09, no Cup guys raced in 2010, and the move to
saturday night eliminated any possibility of them racing this year as well.

Brett Moffitt picks up his 6th career East Series win, posting his 3rd
straight 2 win season. After leading 287 laps in his first 2 seasons in
the East Series, Moffitt's already led 355 of the 575 laps raced in 2011.

Max Gresham, who got beat by his former JGR teammate in Moffitt, posted
his 3rd straight top 5 finish.

Eddie MacDonald picked up his 1st top 5 of the season in 3rd, his best
finish since his most previous win back in 2009 at Loudon.

Ryan Gifford gets his 9th top 5 in 18 career East Series starts (no
stand-alone top 10's yet).

Coleman Pressley gets his 3rd top 5 in his first 4 East Series starts,
all in 2011.

Darrell Wallace Jr. has three 6th place finishes in 4 races this season,
the only exception being his win at Richmond.

After back-to-back finishes in the 20's following a 4th in his East
Series debut, Chase Elliott finishes 7th.

Cody Hodgson gets his best career finish in 8th.

Brandon Gdovic gets his best career finish and 1st top 10 in 9th.

Ryan Blaney, son of Cup driver Dave Blaney, has top 10's in his first 2
career East Series starts.

Rick Allen and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Derek Pernesiglio was
the sole pit road reporter.
