He actually slipped to third in points as Darrell Wallace Jr. grabbed the win and second in points. Max Gresham finished third and clinched the 2011 championship. He had an impressive season. He was 21st in the first race, but never finished outside the top seven in the remaining 11 races. 2. Thank you, FOX. 5. AlmirolaFan88 posted: 10.01.2011 - 8:01 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) I'm sure the OG Busch North fans can't be pleased about Cup team dominance and Toyota sweeping the season. Revolution Racing was just fine as a Chevy team, but the switch to Toyota gave them an extra 4 wins this season. Wish Ryan Gifford could have won a race but he ran well yesterday. 6. dmm posted: 10.02.2011 - 1:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) They will air the race on speed channel on thursday. It's also his 5th career win. Dale Quarterley's runner-up finish was his first top 10 in 5 starts this year and his best finish since he won at Dover back in 2004. Max Gresham's 3rd place finish, his season-leading 9th top 5 in 12 races, was enough for him to clinch the K&N Pro East Series championship and 1st for JGR since Joey Logano won it in 2007. He was the only driver to complete every lap in 2011. Eddie MacDonald ended the year with 5 consecutive top 10 finishes, including back-to-back top 5's (3 on the year). Andrew Smith picked up just his 3rd top 10 of the year, but his 2nd top 5. This was the 2nd time that Ryan Gifford's led the most laps in a race but is still looking for his 1st career win in the series (2 runner-up finishes, 9 top 5's in 26 starts). Brandon McReynolds, son of former Cup CC and current NASCAR TV personality Larry McReynolds, picked up his 3rd top 10 in 7 starts this season (15.3 avg fin). In 6 starts, 16 y/o Dylan Presnell ended up with 4 top 10's and a 9.7 avg fin in his first season in the East Series. Jeff Anton gets a top 10 in just his 2nd start of the season, and 19th in 68 career starts (since 2004). 8. My guess is that in another 7 years bubba will be in a national guard Chevy 9. Rich posted: 08.25.2020 - 7:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Rick Allen and Larry McReynolds were the commentators.
