Darrell Wallace, Jr. picks up his first victory of 2012, and first for
Joe Gibbs, to take over the points lead. The triumph makes it 16 wins in
a row for Toyota in the series dating back to 2010.

K&N West series standout Dylan Kwasniewski makes his K&N East debut and
claims a top-10 after starting last.

Ex-Indy Lights racer Duarte Ferreira also makes his K&N East debut,
becoming the first NASCAR driver ever on any level from the African
nation of Angola.

Two drivers who didn't get the finish they deserved are worth a mention:

Cale Conley looked the best he has to me yet in this series. He started
18th and was easily the fastest mover in the first half of the race. He
used the outside line more than anyone and was up to 3rd when he had his
electrical issues.

Travis Pastrana also really impressed me. He really pressured Wallace
early and even though he didn't have a winning car looked to be in line
for a top-five finish. Not sure what happened with him late, but I
looked down to see him and Quarterley together in the frontstretch wall.
It was a shame since I think he's got a great attitude with the way he's
approaching NASCAR and for the first time really looked to be
competitive in terms of leading the race.

Another good run for Corey LaJoie but when a victory ?

Dylan Kwasniewski was very impressive after starting last. The future
Jeff Gordon !

Why doesn't K&N give race purse info any more? What does it pay to win?

The only reason that the Toyota's keep winning is because they make up
half of the field in each race and all the bigger teams run Toyota's. I
just like to think of them as a bunch of traitors who are money hungry.
Just my opinion.
