Corey LaJoie won the K&N Pro Series East Visit Hampton VA 175 at Langley
Speedway on Saturday. LaJoie benefited from a great lap 172 restart to
hold off Brett Moffitt, with whom he staged a terrific duel over the
final 45 laps.

Chase Elliott, son of NASCAR legend Bill Elliott, finished third, with
Langley veteran Brandon Gdovic fourth and 2011 winner Sergio Pena of
Winchester fifth. Travis Pastrana was sixth when a late spin following
contact on lap 167 sent him far back in the field, and set up the
four-lap finishing shootout between LaJoie and Moffitt.

Chase Elliott won the pole for this race and converted it into a solid
third-place run. This would be Elliott's only K&N East series pole on
his way up the ladder.
