It's not Kennedy's first NASCAR victory, he won in Europe running in the NASCAR Euro-Racecar Series last season. This was the K&N East series' first visit to Florida's Five Flags Speedway, home of the famous Snowball Derby. Perhaps experience helped out Kennedy as he ran the Snowball Derby the last two years. This was the series' first-ever standalone race in Florida, thier only previous visits to the Sunshine State was the regular Busch Series race at Daytona beign a companion event from 1988 through 1997, all of which saw few series racers in the field. 2. 83andJoe posted: 04.14.2013 - 6:34 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) K&N East points-race debut for John Hunter Nemechek. 3. In reality at Five Flags the #1 = Dodge and the #71 = Chevrolet. I have to make regular updates for the K&N West and East. It does not change! But it adds more work for us! That's life ... 5. 83andJoe posted: 07.02.2013 - 4:46 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Crew chiefs: #00, Matthew Goslant #0, Lonnie Rush Jr #1, Clinton Cram #2, Mark Green #4, Eddie Dickerson #6, Skip Eyler #11, Dave McCarty #16, Ty Joiner #20, Doug George #21, Nick Hutchins #29, Shane Whitbeck #31, Joe Williams #34, Rich Burgdoff #37, Scott Goyer #39, Mark McFarland #46, Ron Otto #47, Wes Ward #48, Jimmy Blake #49, Brian Lear #71, Rollie LaChance Jr #72, B.J. VanDoorn ran eight K&N East races this season but his strong debut here turned out to be his only top-5 and top-10 finish. 7.
