With most of the field having never started a road course race before, I
knew earlier this week that Kwasniewski's road course experience from
the K&N West series might come into play, and I was right.

Tough break for Rev Racing, at one point Suarez, Gifford, and Ortiz were
running 2nd-4th.

First NASCAR touring series race at Virginia International Raceway. Also
one of the first major races at VIR since its iconic oak tree collapsed
in early July.

Great run by Peyton Sellers as he started last and finished seventh.
Sellers didn't even make a lap in qualifying and bided his time through
most of the event. He passed several cars for position in the final
laps. From my vantage point , he surged from 11th to seventh in the
final 14 laps.

Interesting statistic but Dylan Kwasniewski leads 39 laps en route to
the victory and it's the 39th road race in the history of the K&N East !
(20 at Watkins Glen and 18 at Lime Rock).
