Top 18 finished on the lead lap and nobody else finished the race or was
closer than 7 laps of the lead lap. Interesting results

Ultimately, there just wasn't enough green-flag racing for anyone to go
a lap down with a small field. Akinori Ogata went a lap down when his
car wouldn't refire, but he was the first lapped car, so he got back on
the lead lap. Kenzie Ruston pitted to serve a pass-through penalty for
passing on the inside on a restart, but when Eddie MacDonald blew his
tire going into turn one, she got her lap back. I think a few other cars
(#04, #15) got laps back not long after losing a lap in the pits.

It's a far cry from the days when the Bahres would start 44 Busch North
cars (or even 46 in a couple cases!) in the mid-nineties. When Kenzie
crashed, I realized she was still going to finish twentieth...and then I
realized just how short the field was.

Very hard crash for Kwasniewski and Gifford. Kwasniewski spun while
battling for the lead and got clipped by Gifford and Ben Kennedy as well.

The 10 car crash on lap 35 was absolutely brutal. Kwasniewski spun on
his own and didn't quite hold it all the way up near the wall on the
backstretch and got clobbered twice when he crept back down the track.

Austin Wayne Self and Kenzie Ruston also took big shots on the
frontstretch in their wrecks.

Rick Allen and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Derek Pernesiglio was
the sole pit road reporter.
