Dillon Bassett breaks through and wins his first K&N East race. This was
the first K&N East race Bassett ever led.

Rico Abreu qualifed for the A-Main at the 2015 Knoxville Nationals but
had to pull out of it to run this race. Abreu missed the "Granddaddy of
them All" but made the most of his chance to run this race by finishing
second.

Note: Dillon Bassett became the 100th different winner in series history
(1987 to present).

Scott Heckert continues to close the gap to points leader William Byron
with a fourth-place finish while Byron finishes eighth. 12 points is all
that separates to two drivers with three races to go in the season.

Note: two red flag on the last caution: Red Flag n°1 lap 103 for 27
minutes for repair some broken up asphalt on frontstretch ; Red Flag
n°2 lap 108 for 50 minutes for another patch of asphalt on frontstretch.

Track officials had patched up a few spots on the racetrack that were
coming up in the morning of this race, but just after lap 100, the
caution and subsequent red flag was called to redo the patchwork, which
was coming up again.

I think Byron will definitely be in Trucks next season. He'll get the 00
ride for sure. I also think they may give Heckert a chance. Austin Hill
has done a couple races for Empire Racing and was impressive in both
starts, unless Corr ends operations

No, Cole Custer will be running the #00 full-time in the truck series
next year.

@11: Junior has said that if they have the sponsorship for it, Cole
Custer is going to drive the Xfinity #9 next year.

@12 Cole Custer is the sponsor he's Joe Custer's son the GM at Stewart
Hass his ride in either Trucks or Xfinity is determined by when he turns
18.

No he hasn't... Dale said back in the spring that the plan is to have
Ben Rhodes in the 9 next year. Custer is gonna be full time in the
trucks next year, that;s pretty much already confirmed, tho I wouldn't
be surprised if he ran a few races in thee 88 in the Xfinity series like
Ben has this year.

Jason Weigandt and Parker Kligerman were the commentators. Derek
Pernesiglio was the sole pit road reporter.
