Austin Cindric makes his second career K&N East start and it ends
exactly like his first, in victory lane. Cindric has won both of the
series' road course races this season, backing up his win at VIR.

This race will be aired by NBCSN on a tape delay later this month. This
race was run at the same as an NBCSN NASCAR recap show, highlighting
practice and previewing Sunday's Cup race. The program included a few
live clips of this race as it happened but didn't mention much about it
other than Cindric leading.

Noah Gragson's hopes for a good finish were dashed by mechanical issues.

This race was run the same day as the opening ceremony for the 2016
Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Adam Andretti makes his K&N East debut and finishes in the top-10, an
impressive run for his first appearance in a major NASCAR-sanctioned
race in more than a decade. Andretti was in his element though, he's a
regular in the road course stock car Trans-Am series. Adam is the
younger brother of former NASCAR Cup and CART racer John Andretti.

Kid leads flag-to-flag from pole here, but just won his first PWC pole
as compared to his points-leading five win teammate.

Top 5 finishers finished exactly where they started

Cindric started first, finished first
Haley started second, finished second
Custer started third, finished third
Grala started fourth, finished fourth
Cabre started fifth, finished fifth

Dave Burns and Frank Stoddard were the commentators with Derek
Pernesiglio on pit road.
