The K&N East is better this year compared to last year when she was starving. 3. If had a void to fill after HScott left and took his 4 cars with him. 4. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 04.11.2018 - 1:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) From my Facebook page (Nascarvd Nascarvédé): This Saturday, April 14 will be the 2nd race of the season in NASCAR K&N Pro Series East on the impressive short track of Bristol in Tennessee, the "Zombie Auto 150". 29 drivers are expected including titleholder Harrison Burton. Other favorites include Todd Gilliland, the returning Noah Gragson, veteran Eddie MacDonald, Cole Rouse, Tyler Dippel and the Bassett Brothers, Ronnie, Jr. and Dillon. Among the oustiders are Brandon McReynolds, Spencer Davis, Tyler Ankrum, Maxx Tullman and Hailie Deegan. Two drivers will also make their debut in K&N East, Tanner Thorson and Brazilian Marcos Gomes. But as far as I'm concerned, I think the future winner will be none other than Derek Kraus. Indeed, we can definitely not leave it among the outsiders. He clearly passed in the clan of the great favorites. His latest results only confirm this. Whether in K&N East or West but also in Late Models. It's always said that a good working relationship (trust and communication) between a driver and his crew chief is paramount. Obviously the agreement and success between Derek and John Camilleri may already suggest a duo "driver / crew chief" as Jimmie Johnson / Chad Knaus or Tony Stewart / Greg Zipadelli. You think I'm going too strong? No, I do not think so. Bill McAnally has always had a fine nose with his duos driver / crew chief. Watch Todd Gilliland / Chris Lawson, Eric Holmes / Ty Joiner or Brendan Gaughan / Shane Wilson. The friend Bill seems to have collected the good ingredients that have made the BMR's successes over the past twenty years. Derek still needs to improve in qualifying. But he is very enduring. His training and wrestling competition are probably for many. Derek is what I will call a "finisher". His ability to climb up and put pressure on the lead pack in the final laps is impressive. He often finishes better at the checkered flag compared to his starting position. And the slightly longer racing format this year is, I think, a plus for him. Indeed the qualifications do not report any point. That said, racing in the lead from the start avoids the problems inherent in racing in the pack. The experience gained last year in his rookie season is put to good use. You will have noticed that I have a preference for Derek. However, let's stay objective and let's not forget that the K&N East and West field is made up of many talented young and old drivers. The battle for victory will only be more beautiful! Remember, read the first paragraph of this text! Have a good race! 5. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 04.11.2018 - 1:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) News: -Veteran driver Eddie MacDonald will be in the #43 Calabrese Auto Group Toyota Camry. -Doug Richert will be the crew chief of Max Tullman in the #27 JPR Ford Fusion. 6. He is one to watch no doubt. 7. David posted: 04.13.2018 - 6:21 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Thanks for this info. This site is quicker/better than Jayski now. 8. ESPN owned that site for I think more than a decade, it's just they only made a switch to having an ESPN style site later on. 17. oldschoolracing519 posted: 04.17.2018 - 8:29 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) if only 28 cars started and 29 on the entry list, then there should be a car WD somewhere here it looks to be the #31 Jimmy Zacharias Ted Marsh Chevrolet Todd Fisette Whelen / Mistar Basement 18. oldschoolracing519 posted: 04.17.2018 - 8:48 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #10 crew chief should be R.B. The wins from this series don't count as NASCAR wins, because K&N is a regional series, not national. So no matter how many races he wins there, none of them really counts. One or two starts like Noah Gragson is no problem, but not the whole schedule again... And I also hope he doesn't run them just to win something, because Truck Series is a more difficult league and those wins don't have to come immediately... It takes time. 20. Mannoroth posted: 04.20.2018 - 11:22 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) 20. What the hell are you talking about? Only Cup, Xfinity and Truck wins count as NASCAR wins, because all 3 series are national, not regional... So Kyle has 186 wins and not like 231 or something... And where the hell I wrote such a nonsense? 22. oldschoolracing519 posted: 07.15.2018 - 8:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #10 crew chief should be R.B. Bracken 23.
