Ernie Francis, Jr. and Will Rodgers qualify on the front row. They
battled in the past in PWC Touring Cars. This should be a great race
with these two on track.

Fight broke out in the pits between Ruben Garcia Jr and Tyler Ankrum in
which Tyler hit everyone except the pace car and n the race. Also took
out his teammate Tyler Dippel at one point.

Will Rodgers is mainly racing in the K&N West series this year but
crosses over to the other side of the country to steal a win from the
East series regulars here. This is the second year in a row he's won on
the New Jersey road course and he remains a perfect 3-for-3 in the K&N
East series after this victory, all of his starts/wins coming on road
courses.

Rodgers' win here proved to be the only K&N East win of the season for
Ford as a manufacturer, the season would be dominated by the Toyotas. It
was a repeat of 2017 when Rodgers' two prior road course triumphs had
again been the only trips to victory lane for the Blue Oval Boys.
Rodgers' East Series win streak finally came to an end later in the year
at Watkins Glen.
