They still could have pulled it off to win both championships in the same year. 7. He'd need to win while Mayer finishes at the bottom to have any kind of shot, and that scenario isn't too likely. 9. He should have ran this week, as the next race is the combo race at Gateway so he's already running that anyway. If Deegan can run both East and West this week, Kraus could have too. If after Gateway they felt 10+ points was too much, then it at least makes more sense not to run. However, this is the only week left of the year where the east and west run the same weekend at different tracks, but it is a Thursday/Saturday so plenty of time for the Friday cross country flight. If the reason Kraus isn't running is because Toyota/DGR picked Deegan over him to run their car, that would be pretty sad. Nothing against Deegan, but Kraus had a chance at history. If it was a decision like that, I hope Kraus ends up in a GMS truck next year and leaves Toyota. 10. Not sure if they have an extra hauler to send the #16 to Bristol 11. Steven posted: 08.14.2019 - 8:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Look at it this way, you have an owner in BMR that has fielded 2 cars at every race. They aren't going to run and you still have a 16 car field. That's a win in this day and age. Same with the West Series not having the Vanderwal and Levin cars and still having 16 entries. 14.
