He's crashed out the last two years here. I'm sure he's hoping to change
that this time around.

This will be the last race for the ?NASCAR K&N Pro Series East? series
name before it becomes the ARCA Menards Series East next year. It will
also be the last race directly sanctioned by NASCAR, though of course
NASCAR in turn sanctions ARCA who will sanction this series next year.

14 cars with essentially 3 Start and Parks, so before we even restarted
after break 1 there were 11 cars running. This small field gives Bill
Hoff and Josh Fanopoulos their career-best finishes.

Sam Mayer puts on a clinic and cruises to the very last season of the
K&N East championship (for the name anyway).

Nobody is saying there's going to suddenly be 40 cars at every race next
year because of this, in the industry or on this website or otherwise.
Nobody is saying that will be THE fix for that.

Also not sure how the rules announced for 2020 would impact a 2019 race,
would love to hear an explanation on that

Also pretty sure the 71 was not a start and park, believe he pulled off
for being too slow, which really isn't any better. This was a pretty
rough one to watch. Really hoping Phoenix in November will get a better
draw, it's really hard to put on a good show with so few cars at a mile
racetrack. Hoping that this season will be the bottoming out point for
this series and it slowly starts to regain cars over the next couple years.

Dave Burns and Parker Kligerman were the commentators. Dillon Welch was
the sole pit road reporter.
