Kyle Sieg with East debut. 2. jkhjjkopjnkjniko posted: 08.18.2020 - 12:31 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Nice entry list, the east has had more entries this year then the west that is basically just McAnally and Bruncati. should actually be a fun race 3. jkhjjkopjnkjniko posted: 08.18.2020 - 12:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wonder what happened Giovanni. Im assuming the deal fell through judging Visconti has had different drivers in the Arca series and now Joe Graf in the east series 4. Both sides have been mum on the potential split, idk if there's anything concrete on the situation, hence the multiple uses of "possibly" above. The 74 wasn't really competitive in the second Toledo race either, only getting up to 7th thanks to the cautions at the early end of the show, but I don't know if that's because the team was poorly prepared or if the equipment is only that good. I think they already had their Nextel sponsorship deal in place before that went down and had already committed to running several upcoming events, so they're probably able to work out deals to have drivers only bring associate sponsors in the case of Ori at Daytona and Graf here. David Gilliland's first true East race, though he has a long history in the West series. Pompa, Vigh and Kitzmiller will be attempting their first East races after having only run in the main ARCA series previously at this high of a level. Dollar, Buchanan and Graf haven't competed in the East series since last year, though if you want to get really technical Graf's only East start that counted came in 2018. Mayer and Graf are the only two drivers in the field that will be pulling double-duty with one of the top-three series races this weekend, or triple-duty in Graf's case as the Xfinity teams will run a doubleheader at Dover. 6. Justin posted: 08.21.2020 - 10:34 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) @8 isn't that hard, the ARCA Series still the same, the ARCA East is the former K&N East and the ARCA West is the former K&N West 10. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:04 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Forgot this was a midday/early afternoon race today, about to get underway with Ty Gibbs on the pole position 11. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:07 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jason Kitzmiller will DNS as he apparently crashed in practice this morning. This comes right on the heels of Codie Rohrbaugh announcing his Truck team would skip the Dover and Gateway events, not a great week for the Rohrbaugh crew. 12. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The 74 of Joe Graf Jr. is trailing some light smoke and the motor sounds very noticeably off. Does not appear to be laying down any fluid - yet, anyway. 13. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The 6 of Nick Sanchez joins Graf on pit road as his car is smoking as well. The Monster Mile sure is rearing its ugly head early on in this one. 14. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The garage is starting to get packed already as Justin Carroll is trying to limp back to the pits with an issue. He'll join Sanchez, Graf, Pompa & Vigh as the five cars behind the wall at the lap 30 caution, no word on if that is the scheduled caution for the break or if there's fluid down on the track. 15. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 2:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Vigh is back on track, while Gilliland had his hood up on pit road and Sieg needed a lengthy push-start to restart his car when the red flag was lifted. 16. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 3:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 50 to go, Sam Mayer tried to go for the lead on the inside of Ty Gibbs and got way sideways, not sure how both drivers didn't wreck big! 17. His strongest competitor is out 22. rm posted: 08.21.2020 - 3:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Really hard hit for Gibbs but he popped right on out of the car when he (somehow) drove it back to his pit stall. That was a big lick he took, and with under 20 to go a red flag will come out to preserve the small amount of laps that are left. 23. Timothy_Eklund posted: 08.21.2020 - 3:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sam Mayer is pullingaway 24. Taylor Gray got the short end of that stick, kissing the wall while running top five and finishing as the last car on the lead lap in 9th. Chuck Buchanan Jr., 9 laps down, will get his second East top ten as a result of the attrition. 26. JFM01 posted: 08.21.2020 - 5:17 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) A Top 10 for Chuck Buchanan! 27. Seems like he'd be running this race to gain experience for today & tomorrow, but wouldn't make sense to S&P under those circumstances. 30.
